The Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences is comprised of the areas of medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics and pharmacology. The Department participates in the teaching mission of the College of Pharmacy at both the professional (Pharm D.) and Graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) programs. Faculty is engaged in research in synthetic and natural products chemistry, drug metabolism, drug delivery, pharmacokinetics, physical pharmacy, molecular pharmacology and biochemistry.

Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance is a private membership, not-for-profit corporation utilizing local, state, federal and private resources and programs to enhance the available economic elements present in our region to promote and grow.
What we do
We provide technical assistance, loan programs, technical communication, education and preside as the Coordinating Responsible Authority for the Northern and Central Renewal Communities.
