Our Leadership

Scott Cox — Dean of Workforce Development — Louisiana Technical College

Scott Cox has worked for Louisiana Technical College in the Louisiana Delta for the past 15 years in several positions. He has designed and facilitated many training programs for area businesses including SAPA Aluminum (formerly Tifton Aluminum), Panola Pepper, Goldman Equipment and Northrop Grumman. He was instrumental in starting the Youthbuild Delta program in Tallulah. In 2004, he began facilitating the Louisiana Technical College, Delta Employer Expo in Tallulah to assist local employers recruit skilled workers.

Scott was born in Natchitoches, La. and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Master of Arts degrees in Student Personnel Services from Northwestern State University. He is a graduate of the Louisiana Community and Technical College (LCTCS) Leadership Development Institute, the North Carolina State University ACCLAIM Academy, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation sponsored Mid-South Delta Leaders (MSDL) program. Scott is married to Lynne (Paul) Cox from Pitman, New Jersey who is an English teacher at Delhi High School.
